I am a software developer who likes to make all kinds of things, digital and physical. I currently work writing software for higher education at West Arete and formerly worked making interfaces to explore large, complex datasets for global science projects at Woods Hole Marine Biological Laboratory.
I like to be on the water surfing, kite-surfing, or sailing. I build my own surfboards and foilboards, and enjoy making sculptures and little projects. In the past I’ve built traditional wooden boats, sewn sails, and done canvas work. I’ve made furniture and do upholstery for our house as well. I basically just like making stuff.
